What exactly does “unthaw” mean?

Listen. Unthaw is a verb I grew up with, and that I didn’t even realize didn’t make any sense until alarmingly recently.

Unthaw (in my world), is the act of thawing something out. Does that make any sense? No. If you’re unthawing something, aren’t you just … freezing it? Sure. Maybe. Who can say. I like to think of it as a low-brow Schrodinger's cat situation. It is both frozen and not frozen. Don’t worry about it.

So how does this apply to design at all? I believe design should be personal. It should tell a story, it should make you feel something, and when done right it should be something that could have only come from you. That is the best way to make something that is unique, and something that is interesting.

So unthaw it is.
